IBS.BFSU: AACSB Accredited!

On August 1, 2023, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) released an official announcement, which was voted by the Initial Accreditation Committee and approved by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors of AACSB voted and approved that the International Business School of Beijing Foreign Studies University has been officially accredited by AACSB for a period of five years. Up to now, about 6% of the business schools in the world have passed the accreditation.

IBS.BFSU passed the AACSB Accreditation Eligibility Application in August 2016 and formally entered the AACSB accreditation application process. In February 2020, AACSB Accreditation Initial Self-Evaluation Report (ISER) was approved by the Accreditation Commission. In November 2022, the School formally submitted its Self-Evaluation Report to the Accreditation Commission for approval and entered the on-site visit phase in 2023.

AACSB accreditation is an important milestone in the development of IBSBFSU, which is internationally recognized as the business school with the longest history, the most stringent accreditation standards, and the highest quality content, and obtaining the accreditation signifies that the IBS.BFSU business education has reached the world-class level, which is of great significance to the IBSBFSU's international influence, development and business expansion.

In the future,under the guidance of the mission of "being committed to cultivating open-minded, socially responsible, and globally competent business leaders by integrating diverse cultures and inspiring continuous innovation", IBS.BFSU will continue to develop in the areas of discipline construction, faculty management and talent cultivation, and create a business school with the characteristics of "language, science and technology, green and internationalization".
