On 10th of December, at noon, the badminton team of IBS and the badminton team of the Russian School launched the 2021 "Beiwai Cup" badminton team championship match at the badminton court located on the second floor of the Beijing Foreign Studies University Gymnasium. IBS badminton team played well and defeated the Russian Academy badminton team with a total score of 4:1, winning the championship of this "Beiwai Cup" badminton team championship.

This match still follows the Sudirman Cup format, divided into five rounds: mixed doubles, women's singles, men's doubles, men's singles, and women's doubles. In the first mixed doubles match, the two sides had a huge disparity in strength. In the second round of the women's singles match, IBS continued to take the absolute advantage of the previous round, gradually increasing the score as the game progressed, and finally won the second round with 31:10.

The men's doubles game started in a stalemate. Team IBS responded calmly, gave full play to their strength, seized the opponent's weaknesses, and scored consecutive points, and won the third game with a score of 31:15. In the fourth game of the men's singles match, the players on both sides were about equal in strength. Both players made a lot of mistakes in the beginning. The two players took the lead alternately. In the last round of the women's doubles match, our players responded positively. Although a slight mistake was made and the opponent scored, team IBS continued to lead the whole process and won the last round with 31:26.

After six games, IBS badminton team easily won the championship of this "Beiwai Cup" badminton team championship with a superb level. Congratulations to the IBS badminton team for their excellent results in this competition, and it is hoped that the team will make persistent efforts in next year's competition and continue to win.
