In the afternoon of December 8th, in order to commemorate the “9th December Movement” and promote the patriotic spirit of young people to be encouraged to shoulder responsibility and make sacrifice, the graduate General Youth Branch of IBS launched the "December 9th" online learning and sharing meeting. The online learning and sharing meeting was hosted by Wang Getong, and a total of 53 students from the IBS graduate General Youth Branch Student Union participated in the meeting.

The "9th December " movement broke out against the historical background of the intensified Japanese aggression against China. On 9th of December, 1935, more than 3,000 students from Beijing held a large-scale demonstration against the "North China Anti-Communist Autonomous Movement" and against Japan's aggression in North China. The campaign demonstrated the patriotic spirit of young students who are not afraid of difficulties and sacrifices, who have the courage to take responsibility, and to progress.

Currently after more than 80 years, the spirit of the "9th December " still inspires modern young people to breathe and share the same destiny with the people of the Motherland, to combine the realization of personal life value with the historical mission of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and to take on the responsibility of the youth, and to help the national rejuvenation.
