On the afternoon of December 13th, the International Business School and Mabian Yi Autonomous County of Sichuan Province held an online preparatory meeting for joint construction and cooperation. Chen Meng, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee of Mabian Yi Autonomous County, Luo Xiangdong, Director of the County Ministry of Education, and county Youth Committee, relevant organizer from Mabian Junior High school, Li Wenbin, Party Committee organizational member of Beijing Foreign Studies University, director of the Student Affairs Office of IBS, and Hua Lei, secretary of undergraduate General Youth Branch of IBS, and Zhang Ying, counselor for Grade 2021 undergraduates, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the heads of the two parties clarified the goals and direction of the school-site cooperation based on actual situation, and then fully exchanged the details of the activities of the "Yuchuan Co-Travel" online volunteer service project. Afterwards, the two sides exchanged views on rural areas revitalization, school-enterprise cooperation, youth training, social practice, etc., and discussed ways of co-construction and cooperation during the pandemic.

In his concluding speech, Li Wenbin introduced the achievements of the IBS Party Branch along with Longxian County of Shaanxi Province, and Heqing County of Yunnan Province in the past two years, and expressed gratitude for Mabian County for providing the voluntary platform for college teachers and students in the honor of the whole school. IBS will continue to give full play to its professional and talent growth, gather resources and innovate models, and strive to create a school-site joint construction platform that shares resources, complements, promotes and improves each other, in order to create a win-win situation between the school and the county.
