8th October 2021
On the 4th of October, the IBS Union successfully held an online working meeting. The conference was rich in content and proceeded smoothly, composing mainly of online icebreaking games, introduction of new members, social media promotion of the International Students Association, and the work deployment [E1]of various functional departments this semester. The meeting summarized the recruitment work of the International Student Union in the fall semester of 2021. All members held an online welcome ceremony for the new members under the organization of the president of the Student Union.
The icebreaking game was played with all members trying to guess the names of the specific items through pictures displayed under the instruction of the host. The icebreaking game not only allows new and old members to quickly get acquainted and build rapport with each other, but also enhances and cultivates the tacit understanding between the students. Throughout the event, the atmosphere and games were lively, and all the members of the International Students Association participated actively.
Thereafter, the president of the International Student Union and department leaders made detailed and deployed work [E2]for this semester.
This online conference for international students was a complete success. It allows members to become familiar with the various work processes of the International Students Association, enhancing the friendship amongst students, and building collective strength. The new members are filled with expectations for the upcoming work of the International Students Association.
