On the afternoon of April 27th, 2022, the eighth phase of group tutoring hosted by the Youth League general Branch & Student Union of graduate students of the IBS was successfully held in the Student Activity Center of 205, Building 2, Guonei Building.
In this event, Ms. Wu Qi, master of applied psychology from Peking University and learner of the CARE Program of Beijing Normal University, was invited to help students get out of their anxiety and enjoy the journey of life.
At the beginning of the activity, Ms. Wu Qi invited the students to make a brief self-introduction to gain a preliminary understanding of their personalities. Then entered the formal group counseling session. Students told the teacher about their recent setbacks and confusion. After listening carefully, Ms. Wu gave suggestions from a professional perspective and guided the students to look at the problem from different perspectives. See the challenge as an opportunity to take advantage of it, calm down, respond positively, and not to worry too much about the result, because the accumulation of the process will help you become stronger invisibly.
Near the end, the teacher summed up the content of this activity, and hoped that the students could gradually get out of the confusion, embrace life with a more positive and optimistic attitude, and firmly believe that there will be a rainbow after the storm.
