On 30th of April, 10:00 a.m., the 2022 Ethnic Culture Festival, hosted by the International Business School of Beijing Foreign Studies University, was held at the Cultural Square of the East Campus of BFSU.
This ethnic culture festival united different ethnic groups, such as Bai, Tibetan, Hui, Miao, Kazakh, Uygur, Zhuang, Tujia, Yao, Tu, Korean, She, Qiang, Naxi, Kirgiz, Xibe, Gelao, and Mulao. Eighteen ethnic groups participated together in total. Each ethnic group had a booth, displaying ethnic ornaments and delicious food for tasting, as well as interesting mini-games, where points can be obtained and exchanged for prizes, attracting many teachers, students and employees to actively participate in the event. Yang Dan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Beijing Foreign Studies University, came to the scene, participated enthusiastically, and extended warm greetings to students of all ethnic groups.
This ethnic culture festival fully demonstrated the unique customs of various ethnic groups, promoted unity, friendship, understanding and recognition among various ethnic groups, and further enhanced the students' sense of pride in the Chinese nation and feelings of home and country.
