On 24th of March, 2022, Volunteers from the International Business School completed the first round of the Letter Accompaniment Volunteer activity, and warmth, sincerity, surprise, and emotion surged in the hearts of every volunteer. Volunteers from IBS and students from far away in Lhasa are looking forward to the second step of communication. On 6th of April, letter paper and envelopes were successively distributed to volunteers. On 11th of April, 52 letters were carefully bound, sealed, packaged and mailed. The second round of the Letter Accompaniment Volunteer activity was successfully launched.

After the first letter exchange, the volunteers had a deeper understanding of their pen friends. In the second letter, the volunteers answered questions about their little pen friends’ worries during their busy learning period, and shared interesting things about their education experience and life. Although volunteers of IBS and students in Lhasa are separated by thousands of miles, the precious emotions established through letters connect a new universe where they accompany each other, care about each other, and grow together.

A sentence of "Tashi Delek" built a bridge for communication between the two sides, and a sentence of "Seeing the words like a meeting, spreading the joy by letter" travelled thousands of miles of thoughts and wishes. Time and space are not the barriers, letters are just the starting point, and each other's company and heart will be commemorated. Volunteers from IBS are eagerly looking forward to the replies from the Lhasa No. 2 high school friends, and hope that peace will be with them all year long.

Volunteers from IBS actively participated in the Letter Accompaniment Volunteer activities, took on the roles and responsibilities of big brothers and sisters, brought warmth and care to the little pen friends who had never met, gathered together the small self into the big self, and connected themselves with infinite distance, set great ambitions, wished each other to be virtuous, become great talents, take on great responsibilities, and contribute their youth to realizing the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation!
