On the afternoon of 12th December, the 3rd IFCO Graduate Exchange and Development Forum of IBS was successfully held at the International Building of the West Campus. Niu Huayong, Dean of IBS, Zhu Yifeng, Vice President of Beijing Venture Commune Investment Development Co., Ltd., and Tan Jialin, Secretary of the graduate General Youth Branch of the International Business School of Beijing Foreign Studies University attended the forum. Representatives from 13 universities: Beijing Foreign Studies University, Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Foreign University of Economics and Business, People's Public Security University of China, Beijing Forestry University, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing Language and Culture University, School of International Relations, China University of Geosciences (Beijing), Institute of Automation of Chinese Academy of Sciences, North China Electric Power University (Beijing) and other schools participated in this forum.
The IFCO Graduate Exchange and Development Forum takes "Innovation, Focus, Cooperation, and Openness" as its purpose, and discusses topics closely related to business hotspots and graduate student organizations. The forum is aimed at communicating and mutually learning, and promoting the further improvement of the organizational system and management.
This forum was divided into two parts: the main forum and the sub-forum. Niu Huayong, Dean of IBS, Zhu Yifeng, Vice President of Beijing Venture Commune Investment Development Co., Ltd., and Mao Wei, Executive Chairman of graduate Student Union of Beijing Foreign Studies University, delivered speeches at the forum respectively, welcoming the arrival of the key representatives of graduate students from various universities and encouraging them to communicate and learn from each other. Afterwards, representatives of graduate students of various universities exchanged and shared opinions on the organization structure, key activities, innovational and entrepreneurship projects of the seminar.
During the discussion session of the sub-forum, representatives of colleges and universities discussed three major topics of the ideological and political influence of the founding of CCP, the core competitiveness of business employment, and the vitality of the student organization for the Winter Olympics, which were summarized and shared by the representatives of each sub-forum. Subsequently, Tan Jialin, Secretary of the graduate General Youth Branch of IBS, summarized the significance of the forum, and put forward suggestions and expectations for the development of integrated abilities of postgraduates. So far, the 3rd IFCO Graduate Exchange and Development Forum of IBS has come to a successful conclusion.
Following the spirit of "innovation, focus, cooperation, and openness", this forum promotes exchanges and discussions on the construction of graduate student organizations among colleges and universities devoted to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CCP, the 80th anniversary of the establishment of BFSU, and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of IBS. It also promotes the construction of the Student Union of the graduate General Youth Branch of IBS, and clarifies the functional orientation of the student-serving organization under the leadership of the CCP.
