On January 7th, 2016, BFSU Vice president Yan Guohua met with a delegation from Oral Roberts University led by Reid-Martinez, vice president of Oral Roberts University. The two sides had discussions on cooperation between the two universities and signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
 

Then the delegation from Oral Roberts University led by Reid-Martinez visited IBS. Ma Lin，deputy director of International Office for Cooperation and Exchange of BFSU and associate dean of IBS， met with them. Director of International Office of IBS Zhang Yanping introduced the current cooperation programs with other universities in the United States. The two sides had discussions on the cooperation model and revised the draft of cooperation agreement. They decided to hold a teleconference in the near future in order to confirm the details of their cooperation.
