On the morning of 28th March, 2022, the fifth group counseling activity hosted by the Youth League general Branch &Student Union of graduate students of the IBS was successfully held at Conference Room 706, Building 2, Guonei Building.

During this event, Ms. Wu Qi, master of applied psychology from Peking University and learner of the CARE Program of Beijing Normal University, was invited to help the students eliminate anxiety and troubles, and face their future studies and life with a good spirit and enthusiasm.

At the beginning of the activity, the teacher invited the students to make a brief self-introduction to gain a preliminary understanding of their study and living conditions. Under the guidance of the teacher, the atmosphere quickly became relaxed, and the students gradually opened up their hearts and talked about the setbacks and confusions they encountered recently. The teacher listened carefully and gave professional advice. The students also actively shared their own experiences and learned to look at problems from different perspectives. In the positive and relaxed informal atmosphere, the participants gained a lot of experience and were able to share their opinions.

Group counseling activities are like a tree hole for students to speak out. During the activities, students can open their hearts more calmly, grow through reflection, progress through exchanges, positively improve their moods and be prepared for new achievements. In the end, they can face life calmly and optimistically!
