The International Business School and the partner firm PricewaterhouseCoopers jointly organised a week-long corporate visit for master's degree students from the Business School. The visit was led and guided by Ms. Huang Xiaoyan from the International Business School.

HR of PWC, Jamie, introduced to students the current development and recruitment requirements of the company and gave guidance to the students on job-hunting and career development. Hawaii Chen, BFSU graduate from Japanese major and senior manager of the tax department, introduced the business and work content of the tax department to the students with real-life cases. Joe Lie, an audit manager who graduated from IBS, firstly answered the research question of students’ group report, provided them with a lot of pertinent advice on case analysis, and introduced the work of audit. Kai Kang, a senior consultant in the risk consulting department, gave a detailed presentation on doing the risk consulting project.

The visit to PWC gave students an in-depth understanding of the accounting firm and its various business content. Students also gained insightful advice on career plans, knew what essentials skills and abilities accounting firms are expected for employees and were deeply motivated.
