On May 10th, 13 international students of the Masters of International Business from the International Business School of Beijing Foreign Studies University, led by Professor Ren and with the support of a translator, visited UMU. Firstly, the students were conducted to the meeting room that was well-arranged by the company. The entire visit was hosted by Claudia, who works at UMU and is part of its Global Team.

The visit began with Yuanfeng Peng from the Product Team sharing an overview of the product. The students learned about the origin of the name UMU, where each letter holds a meaning: U for Understand, M for Memorize, and U for Use. Moreover, he elaborated on the Product Team's responsibility, which is to align with the company's core values. 

Then, representing the Global Team, Ramiro introduced their marketing activities, providing insights into the platforms used by employees for their daily tasks. Following this, Bill Feng and Lijun Zhou, representatives from the IT and Finance teams respectively, shared their expertise online as they work in different provinces. Despite the distance, the interaction was very close and the students could get many insightful ideas from them and have all their questions answered, satisfying their curiosity.

After two hours of engaging sessions, the students were treated to lunch in UMU's cafeteria. UMU not only provided main dishes but also desserts and fruits, emphasizing a balanced diet for both visitors and employees. Special menus were also provided for people with dietary restrictions, demonstrating their effort to promote an inclusive atmosphere.

Following the delicious lunch, the UMU PIC guided the students on a tour of the company. The students could observe the company's adoption of open-area working methods and innovative features like carbon dioxide sensors. 

Furthermore, a Q&A session took place between the students and UMU Founder and CEO, Dongshuo Li. He addressed the students' questions, fostering an interactive session. Through this exchange, the students gained insights into some of the opportunities and challenges that UMU has encountered. Moreover, the students learned that certain company settings were intentionally designed to ensure a comfortable environment for employees. This has definitely stirred up interest for some of the students to complete the internship in UMU.

Finally, the students and the school expressed their gratitude to UMU for their hospitality by presenting a token of appreciation. UMU also kindly provided souvenirs, further enhancing the visitor  s experience.
